Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool that can surely ensure switching work of the eduction gear ratio by sliding and removing a movable member.SOLUTION: In the power tool, a reduction gear mechanism 2 includes a planet gear raw 21, a movable member 32 slidable in the axial direction, and a reduction gear case 4, and the movable member 32 is slidably moved to change the speed at a plurality of steps. Such power tool also includes an operation member 5, a supporting member 34 that is inserted into a portion where the slide groove 42 of the reduction gear case 4 and the working groove 51 of the operation member 5 are overlapped with each other and that is coupled with the movable member 32, a driving section 7 for moving the operation member 5, and a pressing member 6 for giving a pressing force in the sliding and moving direction to the movable member 32. The pressing member 6 is made of an elastic body 61 for giving a pressing force to the operation member 5 in its moving direction.
