Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce data transmission time by reducing the amount of data transmitted from image processing units each of which performs image processing of each image of a plurality of divided regions, and thus to secure time for performing image processing.SOLUTION: A histogram is created from a plurality of divided images obtained by dividing an image into a plurality of regions. Intermediate data including a representative value of gradations in each of the divided images and boundary values of gradations relating to regions in which the divided image is in contact with other divided images is created from the histogram. A process of correcting the divided images is performed on the basis of correction data created from pieces of intermediate data of the plurality of divided images.
