PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire backup based on SLA suitable for each virtual computer.SOLUTION: The backup management device 100 includes: a stop instruction section 110 for instructing a virtual computer 320 to stop, which requires stopping when acquiring backup, out of a plurality of the virtual computers 320 that share one logical disk 210 provided by a storage device 200; and a backup instruction section 140 for instructing the storage device 200 to acquire the backup of the one logical disk 210 after the virtual computer 320 which has received the stopping instruction has stopped.
