Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire extinguishing pump device capable of controlling and operating a pump so as to maintain proper water feeding pressure considering water discharging equipment and a place where fire occurs even in a multi-story building.SOLUTION: The fire extinguishing pump device has a plurality of pumps 10 arranged each of a plurality of zones of story layers of the building and a controller 40 controlling operation of the plurality of pumps 10, the plurality of pumps 10 are connected in series, the pump 10 arranged in the lowermost zone of story layers of the plurality of zones of story layers is directly connected to a city water piping, the controller 40 starts the pump 10 arranged in the lowermost zone of story layers when fire occurs in the upper zone of story layers of the plurality of zones of story layers and water is discharged from a water discharging means arranged in the upper zone of story layers.
