Abstract:
The invention provides a glass plate for color filter. The method of producing a glass plate for a color filter can increase the airtightness of resin to the surface of the glass plate. The method of producing a glass plate for a color filter with its surface formed with a black resin matrix comprises a glass plate washing step for washing the surface of the glass plate to remove foreign objects attached to the surface. The glass plate washing step comprises a first washing step and a second washing step. In the first washing step, an inorganic alkaline-based washing agent added with a surfactant is used to wash the surface. In the second washing step, the tetramethylammonium hydroxide is used to wash the surface.
