Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a displaying the number of captured images and an imaging device which are capable of providing a user with the number of captured images by scene and period.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 includes: imaging means 26 which causes an imaging device to form an image and photo-electrically converts the image; date information providing means 51 which provides date information; scene determination means 53 which determines the imaged scene of the image data; image data storage means 47 which associates the imaged scene with the image data acquired by the imaging means and stores the associated image data; the number-of-captured-images counting means 57 which, each time the imaging means captures an image, acquires date information from the date information providing means to update date information of the last imaging date and counts the number of captured images of the captured image data by each imaged scene while the date information is the same date; and a number-of-captured-images display means 59 which, when predetermined operation is received, displays the number of captured images of each imaged scene on the present date on display means 15.
