Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material pellet for reduction-roasting of steel dust with which the volatilization ratio of zinc contained in the steel dust can be improved, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The raw material pellet for reduction-roasting of the steel dust, is used in the manufacturing process of crude zinc oxide for carrying out reduction-roasting of the steel dust, and is composed of the steel dust, a carbonaceous reducing agent and a binder which can stick the steel dust to the carbonaceous reducing agent, and to the surface of the steel dust, the carbonaceous reducing agent is stuck via the binder.
