Abstract:
The following novel pyrimidine derivative is useful as a pest-control agent. Formula (I) (In the formula, R1 represents a monocyclic or bicyclic ring that may contain zero to three heteroatoms and is selected from a group comprising phenyl, benzyl, oxazolyl, and the like; R2 represents, for example, a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyalkyl, an alkoxyalkyl, a haloalkoxyalkyl, phenyl, a heteroaryl, a halogen, cyano, a haloalkyl, or a haloalkoxy; and R3 represents, for example, (1) a hydrogen atom, (2) a halogen atom, (3) a C1-6 alkyl substituted with a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, or an acyloxy represented by (a straight-chain or branched C1-8 aliphatic hydrocarbon group)-CO-O-, (4) an unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl, or (5) a haloalkyl.)
