Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of the waste of molten slag for obtaining a grinding material.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a grinding material by pyrolysis/gasification of wastes through a gasification melting furnace 1, while manufacturing grinding material from molten slag of pyrolysis residue and noncombustibility being melted. The method includes a pyrolysis gasification/melting step in which wastes are pyrolysis gasified while pyrolysis residue and noncombustibility are melted to generate molten slag; a homogenizing step wherein molten slag is homogenized, that is, the dispersion of composition constituents of the molten slag is made even by keeping the molten slag in retention in a heat-retaining manner under an oxidizing atmosphere; a water granulation step wherein homogenized molten slag is run down through a water granulation bath for the molten slag to be granulated into particles by water; and a sort-out step in which water-granulated slag is chosen from a metal wherein they are mixed for obtaining a slag grinding material.
