Abstract:
A fluid working machine 11, 12 is provided with a cylinder 19, a piston 18 having an inner passage 55, 56 where working fluid is introduced from a working chamber 20, a roller 21 rotatably engaged to the piston 18, and a cam 22 rotating in contact with the roller 21. On an engagement surface of the piston 18 engaging with the roller 21, a groove 60 is formed to introduce the working fluid from the working chamber via the inner passage 55, 56. The groove 60 includes an annular groove portion 61 and a communication groove portion 62 formed along the rotational direction of the roller 21 to traverse the annular groove portion 61. The inner passage 55, 56 opens to the communication groove portion 62.
