Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for searching for a radio communication direction by using a plurality of directional antennas.SOLUTION: Provided is a method and a device for executing direction search and radio communication by using a plurality of frequency bands, that is, a plurality of radio channels in a radio communication system. The device uses a plurality of directional antennas having directions different from each other, sequentially assigns one of the plurality of predetermined frequency bands to each of the plurality of directional antennas according to its direction, compares strength of signals received by the directional antennas, and executes direction search and radio communication of radio signals via the directional antenna having the strongest reception signal strength. Thus, it is possible to obtain frequency diversity effect in such an environment like the sea that reception signal strength via frequency band drastically changes by distance due to interference of a sea surface reflected wave.
