Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is being able to suitably clean a runner of a vessel for molten metal by efficiently melting and eliminating base metal, which has adhered to the runner of the vessel for molten metal, by a combustion device in a short period of time. The present invention uses a combustion device provided with a plurality of inner flame combustion nozzles (13a), which have a combustion assisting gas ejection nozzle (11a) that can eject a combustion assisting gas at high velocity and a fuel gas ejecting nozzle (12a) that ejects fuel gas, at the center of the tip of a combustion burner (10) and provided with a plurality of outer flame combustion nozzles (13b), which have a combustion assisting gas ejection nozzle (11b) that can eject a combustion assisting gas at high velocity and a fuel gas ejection nozzle (12b) that ejects fuel gas, on the outside periphery of these inner flame combustion nozzles.
