Emulsifier comprises at least one glycerin modified siloxane (I). Emulsifier comprises at least one glycerin modified siloxane of formula (M 2 + f + 2 g - a - bM1 aM2 bD1 cD2 dD3 eT fQ g) (I). M : R1 3SiO 1 / 2; M1 : R1 2R2SiO 1 / 2; M2 : R1 2R3SiO 1 / 2; D1 : R1 2SiO 2 / 2; D2 : R1R2SiO 2 / 2; D3 : R1R3SiO 2 / 2; T : R1SiO 3 / 2; Q : SiO 4 / 2; R1 : linear or branched 1-16C-aryl (optionally contains OH- or ester-function); R2 : linear or branched, optionally aromatic 1-30C, preferably linear 8-28C-alkyl; R3 : -CH 2CH 2CH 2OCH 2CH(OH)CH 2OH; a, b : 0-2; c : 20-300; d : 4-130; e : 3-75; f : 0-10; and g : 0-5, where 2+c+d+e+2f+3g is 51-350, (a+d)/(b+e) is 1-6.5, and a+b+d+e is greater than 10. (1) water-in-oil- or water-in-silicon-emulsions and dispersions comprising the emulsifier; (2) cosmetic, dermatological or pharmaceutical formulations comprising the emulsifier; and (3) optionally dispersed solids containing care and cleaning products for household or industrial and care and cleaning agents for hard surfaces, leather or textiles containing the emulsifier.
