Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can execute printing which is based on print data on a storage unit earlier than in the conventional manner, in accordance with an operation input to an input device.SOLUTION: When an MFP (Multifunctional Peripheral) causes a printer to execute printing which is based on image data for printing, the MFP causes, when standby printing as another printing waiting execution by use of the printer is present (YES at S325), the printer to execute the printing which is based on the print image data earlier than the execution waiting printing (S331), and when printing in process as another printing executed by the printer is present (YES at S321), causes the printer to suspend the printing operation in process (S323), then, causes the printer to execute the printing which is based on the print image data (S324), and then, causes the printer to restart the printing operation in process after ending the execution of the printing which is based on the print image data.
