Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with heat generation of plural single batteries which is not less than an upper limit temperature even at any posture.SOLUTION: A battery pack 1 is constituted so that plural single batteries 11 and a fire-extinguishing agent 12 are housed in the same outer case 13. In the outer case 13, the plural single batteries 11 are separately housed in plural inner cases 14, and the fire-extinguishing agent 12 is housed in an inner container 15. Fire-extinguishing agent put means for putting the fire-extinguishing agent 12 in the inner cases 14 housing the single batteries 11 heated to not less than an upper limit temperature when the single batteries 11 are heated to not less than an upper limit, is provided between the plural inner cases 14 and the inner container 15. The fire-extinguishing agent input means includes compression gas for compressing the fire-extinguishing agent 12 in the inner container 15, and a nozzle 16 for injecting the fire-extinguishing agent 12 in the inner cases 14 from the inner container 15. A plug molten by heat when the single batteries 11 are heated to not less than an upper limit temperature is provided on a tip hole of the nozzle 16, to open the nozzle 16.
