Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting tire performance which enables the influence which each region of a tire exerts on the whole performance of the tire to be predicted with a high probability.SOLUTION: A method for predicting tire portion performance, which enables a predetermined performance for each portion of the pneumatic tire by using a physical quantity indicating the predetermined performance of the pneumatic tire, which is computed using a tire model, to be predicted with a high probability, includes a step of computing a component physical quantity which is each physical quantity of a plurality of components from the physical quantity, a step of computing a first component virtual physical quantity and a second component virtual physical quantity which correspond to each of a plurality of the components from set first virtual physical quantity and second virtual physical quantity respectively, a step of computing a first virtual influence index from the component physical quantity and the first component virtual physical quantity, and a step of computing a second virtual influence index from the component physical quantity and the second component virtual physical quantity, and a step of computing the influence index from the first virtual influence index and the second virtual influence index, and correlating with the corresponding component.
