Abstract:
The method involves cutting crosswise to a longitudinal direction of a printed paper web (1) to produce a cut-off section. The cut-off section has a length based on multiple lengths of a finished printed product (7). The cut-off section is folded in a crosswise direction in a location based on the length of the finished product using a folding unit (4). The folded cut-off section is cut in the longitudinal direction to form a partial web (5a) of the paper web having a width corresponding to the width of the finished printed product.
