Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring attention to a subject for image pickup by an appropriate method corresponding to the subject by automatically discriminating the kind of the subject by a face detection function mounted on an imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus stores turn-around sound to bring attention to a subject, sets the turn-around sound to be reproduced by sound, based on the kind of the subject, recognizes the subject of an image to be picked-up in accordance with a user operation, determines the kind of the subject, and then, brings attention to the subject at least by reproducing the turn-around sound, based on the subject kind being the result of the determination.
