Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brochure-like medium processing device that can determine with high accuracy whether a brochure-like medium is subjected to double feeding during transportation along a transportation path in a state with its pages left open and which sufficiently suppresses an increase in boy size and cost.SOLUTION: A transporting part 3 transports a passbook in a state with its pages left open to a double feed detecting position along the transporting path. A controlling part 2 rotates a roll-up roller in a predetermined direction and rolls out the passbook. The controlling part 2 also determines whether the passbook is being subjected to double feeding by determining whether the length of the passbook subjected to roll-out processing is appropriate.
