Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a single crystal insulating substrate including graphene ribbons capable of making uniform widths of graphene ribbons, and including graphene ribbons having uniform widths on the whole surface of the substrate, and to provide the single crystal insulating substrate including the graphene ribbons.SOLUTION: A single crystal insulating substrate is prepared, and graphene is fixed on the substrate surface, and proteins involving core particles are arranged at equal intervals on the graphene by using the outer diameter of the proteins involving core particles as a pitch, and the proteins are removed so as to arrange core particles on the graphene, and the graphene is cut by the core particles, to thereby form graphene ribbons.
