Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the size of an electrodeposition hole to be added to a vehicle body while suppressing development costs.SOLUTION: Coating film thickness X is calculated for each element composing a vehicle body analysis model assuming electrodeposition coating (S10). When it is determined that the coating film thickness X is less than a reference value, a film thickness shortage area is extracted from the vehicle body analysis model (S12). Hole drilling elements having the thinnest coating film thickness X are extracted for each film thickness shortage area (S13), and a processing position of an electrodeposition hole is set on the basis of the hole drilling elements (S14). Then, stress acting on each hole drilling element is read during a collision test by referring to predetermined map data (S15), and diameter of an electrodeposition hole is set on the basis of the stress (S16). Thus, it is possible to set the size of the electrodeposition hole under the consideration of vehicle body strength, and to avoid unnecessary deterioration of the vehicle body strength. Therefore, it is possible to avoid design change for restoring the vehicle body strength, and to suppress development costs of the vehicle body.
