Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a liquid crystal parallax barrier more inexpensively.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal parallax barrier panel has a structure in which an electrode substrate 210, a liquid crystal layer and an encapsulation substrate are sequentially laminated. The electrode substrate 210 includes: a glass substrate; a first electrode 211 branched at a plurality of stages; a second electrode 212 arranged on the same layer as the first electrode 211, and branched at a plurality of stages; and an alignment film. In a display area 215, a branch part having a branched terminal of either one electrode of the first electrode 211 and the second electrode 212 is alternately arranged so as to be inserted between two branch parts having a branched terminal of the other electrode. The first electrode 211 and the second electrode 212 have the same voltage when a slit of a parallax barrier is not formed, and a predetermined voltage is applied to the first electrode 211 when the slit of the parallax barrier is formed.
