Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that can promptly perform forced liquid collection control of a refrigerant in a receiver and appropriately terminate the forced liquid collection control in the receiver without adding a dedicated device such as a liquid level gauge.SOLUTION: In a refrigerant circuit of an air conditioner 1, a receiver gas vent pipe 30 for leading a gas refrigerant collected in a receiver 25 to the suction side of a compressor 21 is provided together with a receiver gas vent valve 30a that can be opened and closed under control. When receiver liquid collection control for forcedly collecting a refrigerant in the receiver 25 is performed, the receiver gas vent valve 30a is opened. When a predetermined time has elapsed on the assumption that the start of the receiver liquid collection control or a series of device operations performed before the receiver liquid collection control is a start point, it is determined that the receiver 25 has become full with liquid, and the receiver gas vent valve 30a is closed.
