Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber sheet for a body movement detector which is used for examination in a state close to an ordinary living environment, and correctly detects body movements to identify an apneic state, a low respiratory state and a normal respiratory state, while measuring a heart rate by a relatively simple analytical method at a low cost, as well as being used suitably in diagnosis of SAS (Sleep Apnea Syndrome).SOLUTION: The GI type quartz optical fiber 11 is disposed on a sheet-like body 12 such as a sponge sheet, a net cloth, or the like. The optical fiber 11 is crossed to form matrix loops 21, while the neighboring loops 21 in the width direction of the sheet-like body 12 are overlapped, thereby forming many intersections that generate lateral pressure on an optical path of transmission signals by using a contact point formed by the crossing of the optical fiber 11 as a point of action.
