Abstract:
The clamp (1) has a clamp band which is provided with two ends (5,7) having left tensioning head (6) and right tensioning head (8). A tensioning element (9) is guided through the left tensioning head and is engaged with the right tensioning head. A securing element is structured and arranged in the left tensioning head to secure the tensioning element against loss, and is provided with a spring element (10) structured and arranged to act between the tensioning element and left tensioning head. An independent claim is included for a method of retaining a tensioning element having a shank and a head in a pipe clamp.
