Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiation member for motor cooling which achieves excellent thermal conductivity and vibration resistance, high-speed stress tolerance and lightweight properties, highly efficiently radiates heat in response to motor output increase, and can ensure vibration resistance, rigidity in rotor magnetization and weight reduction.SOLUTION: The heat radiation member for motor cooling is obtained by molding a resin composition which is prepared by blending, when the total of (A), (B) and (C) is considered to be 100 wt.%, (A) 25-45 wt.% of a polyphenylene sulfide resin, (B) 10-60 wt.% of magnesium hydroxide and (C) 15-65 wt.% of a glass fiber having a fiber diameter of 4-11 μm, and which has thermal conductivity of ≥0.8 W/m K as measured by a heat flowmeter method.
