Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell evaluation device and a method capable of evaluating a solar cell which needs light soaking (LS) with higher reliability and with less labor.SOLUTION: A solar cell evaluation device Sa of this invention includes: an LS light irradiation unit 2 which irradiates a solar cell SM to be evaluated that needs LS with LS light for LS; an evaluation light irradiation unit 1 which irradiates the solar cell SM with evaluation light for performing an evaluation; a detection unit 3 which detects the output of the solar cell SM; an evaluation unit 43 which evaluates the solar cell SM on the basis of a detection result of the detection unit 3 which is acquired by irradiating the solar cell SM with the evaluation light by the evaluation light irradiation unit 1; and an irradiation control unit 42a which controls the LS light irradiation unit 2. The irradiation control unit 42a controls the LS light irradiation unit 2 so that it irradiates the solar cell SM with the LS light until the predetermined conditions which are set beforehand are satisfied.
