Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of displaying an image without problems when the image is desired to be displayed, even if storage means with a slow reading speed is used as storage means of image information.SOLUTION: At least a part of image data are transferred to a resident video RAM 189 in initialization processing just after turning on the power, so as to be resident. Thereby, after the completion of the initialization processing, drawing processing of the image can be performed by an image controller 188 while using the image data which are made resident in the resident video RAM 189. Therefore, since it is not necessary, when drawing the image, to read the corresponding image data from a character ROM 187 which consists of a NAND type flash memory 187a with the slow reading speed, the time required for reading can be saved, the drawing of the image is immediately performed, and the drawn image can be displayed on an auxiliary display part 65.
