Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wristwatch type information terminal that suppresses power consumption, prevents misoperation, and prevents surroundings from being hard to see and so on as the information terminal is continuously operated.SOLUTION: A wristwatch type information terminal 10 includes an input portion 12 which receives input operation, a display portion 14 which displays predetermined information, a use state detection portion 16 which detects the use state of the wristwatch type information terminal 10 by a user U, and a use mode setting portion 18 which sets one of a non-use mode in which display of information on the display portion 14 is limited and input operation to the input portion 12 is inhibited, an information confirmation mode in which the display of the information on the display portion 14 is permitted and the input operation to the input portion 12 is inhibited, and a full operation mode in which the display of the information on the display portion 14 and the input operation to the input portion 12 are permitted according to the use state of the user detected by the use state detection portion 16.
