Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform, in an internal combustion engine performing arithmetic processing using a multi-core processor having a plurality of cores, distribution of the cores used according to the computing load of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: The control device of the internal combustion engine, which includes a turbo supercharger 20 disposed in an intake passage 12, an intake bypass passage 26 bypassing the downstream side and upstream side of the turbo supercharger 20, and an air bypass valve (ABV) 28 opening and closing the intake bypass passage 26, and operates the ABV 28 according to the operating state of the internal combustion engine, includes an arithmetic means which has a multi-core processor mounted with a plurality of cores and performs computation in parallel by assigning various computation tasks related to the operation of the internal combustion engine to the plurality of cores; and a control means which reduces, when the ABV 28 is operated to be fully opened, the number of the cores used in the arithmetic means, compared with prior to the operation to full open.
