Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for battery electrode which ensure excellent adhesion to a collector even in small amount.SOLUTION: The binder for battery electrode is a polymer having 80-99.99 mol% of vinylcyanide unit and 0.01-20 mol% of phosphate group-containing unit, in which the insolubles for N-methylpyrrolidone is 50 mass% or less. The composition for battery electrode contains the inventive water soluble binder. The electrode for battery includes a collector and a mixture layer provided on the collector, where the mixture layer contains the composition for battery electrode and the electrode active material, and the second battery includes the electrode for battery.
