Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem depending on network environment caused by missing supposition because of conventionally narrowing down relay devices based on the supposition that image data of high picture quality and voice data of high sound quality can be transmitted/received by using the relay devices having IP addresses near the IP addresses of a speech terminal such as a video conference terminal.SOLUTION: Prior transmission information (ping) is transmitted/received between speech terminals 10aa and 10db through two or more candidates 30a and 30b of a relay device; and the relay device relaying predetermined information having the shortest time required for transmission/reception of the prior transmission information is narrowed down in the speech terminal 10aa of the transmission side. Thereby, the transmission/reception of image data or voice data of maximally high quality can be implemented under actual communication network environment.
