Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a situation in which a useless maintenance work is repeated.SOLUTION: The maintenance support system for supporting a maintenance work by providing information helpful for the maintenance of a copying machine to a serviceman calculates abnormality prediction determination data (F value) to be stored in data storage means on the basis of a signal to be acquired from the copying machine, determines whether or not the maintenance work has been valid on the basis of the abnormality prediction determination data in a period Ts between the immediately previous execution of the maintenance work and a predetermined maintenance validity determination period, and when determining that the maintenance work is not valid, notifies a serviceman of maintenance failure information showing the result.
