Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cemented carbide having excellent abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: A cemented carbide comprises tungsten carbide particles, and a binder phase having at least one element selected from the group consisting of cobalt, nickel and iron, with the content of the binder phase in the range of 4 mass% or more and less than 7 mass%. Of the tungsten carbide particles, the ratio of tungsten carbide particles with 0.75° or less of an orientation difference in a crystal grain is 80% or more relative to the total number of tungsten carbide particles.
