Abstract:
To provide a secondary battery of higher performance by obtaining a battery electrode with few coating defects and excellent current collecting efficiency.
In the composition for battery electrode containing polyacrylic acid or polyacrylate (A) with the average molecular weight of 300,000 or more and a binder (B), the binder (B) is a carboxy-modified copolymer latex with the number average particle size of 50 to 300 nm, and that, a ratio of the weight average particle size to the number average particle size of the copolymer latex (weight average particle size/number average particle size) is 1.05 or more.
