Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce discontinuity of area boundaries when recreating a piece of image after performing image processing on each area.SOLUTION: An image processor holds in a memory a size and scene information with respect to each of a plurality of divisional areas acquired by dividing an input image with a plurality of methods. The image processor processes the input image on the basis of the scene information of a divisional area selected from the plurality of divisional areas to acquire a scene correspondence image, determines a transition form of composition rate from a first composition rate in the selected divisional area to a second composition rate in areas other than the divisional area on th basis of a size of the divisional area to determine a composition rate for the scene correspondence image. Further, the image processor composes a plurality of scene correspondence images acquired with respect to the plurality of divisional areas, with the determined composition rate according to the transition form of composition rate.
