Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell that provides uniform temperature distribution in a surface of a power generation cell and prevents an increase in parts count and a decrease in power generation performance.SOLUTION: A solid oxide fuel cell 1 has a fuel cell unit 11 with such a structure that two power generation cells 20 and 30 are arranged on a single separator 40 along a planar direction thereof. From a planar view, the power generation cells 20 and 30 and the separator 40 all have a rectangular shape. The power generation cell 20 has a plurality of sides 21 to 24, and the power generation cell 30 has a plurality of sides 31 to 34. The sides 24 and 32, which face each other, are arranged approximately parallel to each other. In a region B1 sandwiched by the sides 24 and 32, a first through hole 71 is provided so as to penetrate the fuel cell unit 11 along a thickness direction of the separator 40. The first through hole 71 forms an air supply passage 70 through which a cooling fluid is to be passed.
