Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology allowing deletion of an artifact from a CT (Computed Tomography) image, and reproduction of CT values of that portion.SOLUTION: An input part (11) inputs a first image captured by imaging an imaging target with first X-rays, and a second image not having the artifact corresponding to the first image. An artifact region estimation part (17) divides the first image into an artifact region and a non-artifact region, and estimates a pixel value when the artifact is absent about each pixel of the artifact region in the first image based on the pixel value of each pixel of a region corresponding to the artifact region in the second image and correlation between pixel values obtained by the imaging by the first X-rays and pixel values of the second image. An image correction part (19) composes the data on the estimated pixel value of each pixel of the artifact region and the data on the pixel value of each pixel of the non-artifact region of the first image to generate a repaired image.
