Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an autofocus detection device that enables oblique line detection accuracy to be improved at low costs and with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An autofocus detection device pupil-dividing a ray of subject light, and projecting a pair of subject images on a different line sensor of a detection area, and obtaining an amount of defocus from a phase difference between a pair of the projected subject images comprises; a parallel line sensor that is composed of a pair of lateral line sensors for a vertical line detection arranged in a lateral direction and a pair of vertical line sensors for a lateral line direction arranged in a vertical direction, in which each makes two pixel columns adjacent in parallel; determination means that determines a degree of an influence of an edge angle of the subject image calculated from a phase difference in output waveforms of two pixel columns of the parallel line sensor; selection means that selects an output of the pair of line sensors for use in a defocus computation according to the determined edge angle; and computation means that computes the amount of defocus on the basis of the selected output of the sensor.
