Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document reading device capable of reducing a memory capacity required for correction of the incline of an image.SOLUTION: Data comprising a plurality of pieces of pixel group data C belonging to each of a plurality of pieces of divided data A1, A2, and A3, and shifted in a sub scanning direction by a predetermined amount by a pixel group data C unit, is taken as line data. A first shifting unit 25 reads out a plurality of pieces of band data D constituting image data from a third storage unit 21 by the line data unit, to sequentially write the data in a first storage unit 17. A second shifting unit 29 shifts a plurality of pieces of line data belonging to each of a plurality of pieces of second divided data B1, B2, B3, and B4 in a main scanning direction by a shift amount in the main scanning direction allocated to each of the plurality of pieces of second divided data B1, B2, B3, and B4, and reads out a plurality of pieces of band data D constituting image data from a fourth storage unit 23 to sequentially write the data in a second storage unit 19.
