Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for maintaining pressing force to a lid body even if pressing means for pressing the lid body that opens and closes an access area against the inner surface of a frame loses its power source due to an accident or the like.SOLUTION: The opening and closing device according to the present invention is formed on a frame disposed inside a reactor vessel and opens and closes an access area which communicates between an inside area and an outside area, and includes: a lid body capable of opening and closing the access area; and an air pressure locking mechanism 24 which presses the lid body against the frame peripheral surface. The air pressure locking mechanism 24 has: a sliding member 28 in which a support surface 35 facing a pressed surface is formed so as to gradually separate from the pressed surface along a sliding direction; a pressing member 29 which is slidably supported with respect to the support surface 35 of the sliding member 28 and retractable with respect to the pressed surface; and a driving mechanism 30 that allows the sliding member 28 to slide.
