Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter device capable of removing even viscid sludge remained in coolant liquid after primary filtration or secondary filtration.SOLUTION: The filter device includes: a magnetic force generating part 4 which includes a cylindrical body 2, a guide 9 for conveyance which is helically arranged on the outer circumference of the cylindrical body 2, a magnet case 5, and a plurality of magnets 6 arranged on the outer surface of the magnet case 5 and is fixed in the cylindrical body 2; a discharge part 15 which includes a body case 10 that stores an upper part of the cylindrical body 2, a receiving port 15a close to the outer surface of the cylindrical body 2, and a discharge port 15b that is arranged at a position projected to the outside of the body case 10 and is mounted to the body case 10; and a drive means 14 which turns the cylindrical body 2 or the guide 9 for conveyance. The cylindrical body 2 or the guide 9 for conveyance is turned with its lower part immersed in the used coolant liquid, to absorb chips in the coolant liquid to the outer surface of the cylindrical body 2, and to convey it upward along the guide 9 for conveyance, to be discharged from a discharge part.
