Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater available for a plurality of types of function operations at the same time, wherein operation control is simplified, a power supply device is reduced is size and a device cost is reduced.SOLUTION: A storage type water heater has a hot water storage tank for storing hot water generated by a heating means, a function operation execution means structured so as to execute a plurality of types of specified function operations, a required electric power storage means for storing an electric power value required for execution for every function operation, a control means for determining whether a required electric power total value of an electric power value of an execution requested function operation and an electric power value of a current executing function operation exceeds a specified power source capacity value based on information stored in the required electric power storage means if an execution request for either function operation is received, and prohibiting execution of the execution requested function operation or postponing the execution requested function operation until the required electric power total value becomes the power source capacity value or less if determining that the total value exceeds the specified value.
