Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that allows designation of a selection region in an image while the imaging device is supported without inconvenience, and a control method therefor.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises region selection means 180 that generates a selection region in an image obtained by imaging means 110 in accordance with an instruction from region selection instruction means 170. The region selection means 180 has selection region holding means 181 that holds the generated selection region, and selection region correction means 182 that corrects the selection region held by the selection region holding means 181 according to a change in the image output from captured image processing means 120.
