Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a roadbed material which is difficult to cause expansion due to ettringite generation even when a granular material having high elution concentration of Al is used in a roadbed material production method using air-cooled blast furnace slag and other granular materials as raw materials.SOLUTION: A method for producing a roadbed material includes a step A of crushing air-cooled blast furnace slag, a step B of aging the air-cooled blast furnace slag having been subjected to the step A, a step C of removing fine grains having a grain size of 0.075 mm or less from the air-cooled blast furnace slag having been subjected to the step B, and a step D of mixing a granular material other than air-cooled blast furnace slag with the air-cooled blast furnace slag having been subjected to the step C. In the air-cooled blast furnace slag, SO, which generates ettringite, is enriched in the fine grains having a grain size of 0.075 mm or less. By removing the fine grains in the step C, a roadbed material difficult to cause expansion due to ettringite generation can be produced even when a granular material having high elution concentration of Al is used.
