Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the emission of HC after an internal combustion engine is started.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine control device performs fuel increase correction for enriching an air-fuel ratio after the internal combustion engine is started, determines whether a catalyst for cleaning an exhaust gas is warmed to a specific degree or higher, and when it is determined that the catalyst is warmed to the degree, forcibly performs fuel cut control for once interrupting fuel supply. Accordingly, air excluding a fuel component is fed to the catalyst, and an atmosphere of the enriched air-fuel which is caused by a warmup operation is purged, or an oxygen storage amount is recovered.
