Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a deposit quantification device for quantifying the amount of deposits deposited on the inner wall of a water-flow path of a water-flow facility having water-flow piping or water-flow equipment through which industrial-water-system or industrial-wastewater-system water flows and a deposit quantification method using the same. A deposit quantification device (10) for quantifying the amount of deposits deposited on the inner wall of a water-flow path (2) of a water-flow facility (1) through which industrial-water-system or industrial-wastewater-system water flows is provided with a tributary part (3) that allows branched water branched by a branch pipe (5) provided in the water-flow path (2) to flow therethrough and has a transparent part (40) formed from a transparent material, an irradiation unit (20) for irradiating the transparent part (40) with light from a light emitter (20a), a light reception part (30) for receiving light from the irradiation unit (20) that has passed through the transparent part (40), a branched-water-blocking part (50) for blocking the flow of branched water in the transparent part (40), and a deposit quantification unit (60) for quantifying the amount of deposits on the water-flow path (2) on the basis of the amount of light received by the light reception unit (30) when the branched-water-blocking part (50) blocks the branched water.
