To provide a container containing a material for an organic electroluminescent element capable of making easy handling of the material for the organic electroluminescent element and moreover capable of suppressing thermal decomposition at the time of depositing the material for the organic electroluminescent element accommodated inside, or the like.
The container containing a material for an organic electroluminescent element includes: a material for a prescribed organic electroluminescent element capable of making film by deposition; and a container for accommodating the material for the organic electroluminescent element. An absolute value of a difference between an amount of electrostatic charges of grains of the material for the organic electroluminescent element electrostatic-charged by friction between powder particles of the material for the organic electroluminescent element and iron powder particles and an amount of electrostatic charges of grains of the container electrostatic-charged by friction between the container particles obtained by crushing the container is 10μC/g or less.
