PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly enhance player's interest in a game by performing a game in a novel mode.SOLUTION: A reel type game machine includes: main control means; and performance control means for receiving game information from the main control means and executing a game performance by performance means. In the reel type game machine, a reel performance for rotating a reel in a mode differing from a predetermined mode is executed, and the reel is rotated in a predetermined mode after completion of the reel performance. The performance control means executes a special performance by the performance means, based on reception of game information indicating rotation of a reel from the main control means after completion of the reel performance.
