Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently perform downsizing design on a transmission circuit while performing HDLC transmission of protection relay information in a protection relay system, and further make it possible to improve performance of HDLC transmission processing.SOLUTION: In transmitting protection relay information by a terminal device and a central relay device, transmission efficiency is improved by transmission with a multiplexer/demultiplexer 100. The protection relay information is transmitted/received between the multiplexer/demultiplexer and a relay part 200 of the terminal device or the central relay device by using an HDLC transmission circuit of an HDLC part (55). The HDLC transmission circuit has a plurality of HDLC transmission circuits and HDLC reception circuits which are separated from a CPU through buffering circuits (buff) and perform parallel processing; has a HDLC function which is integrated into an IC and is constructed by measurement counter for counting HDLC commands, status, and errors; and is used by being connected with a communication board 300 mounting the multiplexer/demultiplexer.
